Nusrat Feteh Ali Khan was the greatest singer of the millenium. We have heard of Tansen (a musician during the Muggal Regime in the times of Akbar) that when he sings, all the lights turned on around him automatically due to the sweetness of his voice. We did not have a chance to hear his voice but we are lucky enough to have Nusrat Fateh Ali in our life. You listen any of his song/qawalli, you will feel that this one is the best he ever sang but the moment you change the track you will start thinking no no, this is the best one. All his songs/qawallis are sung marvellously. His style, his voice, music everything was unique. It is always difficult to sing his songs in his style, even the professional singer are not able to come near to his style while singing his songs. Though Nusrat born in Pakistan and was citizen of Pakistan, but he was loved by all and has great fan following though out the world.
 
Nusrat should have lived more, it was too early for him to leave us. Perhaps, God is feeling jealous of us or feeling lonely in the heavens or God loved him more than us, that He called him back to heavens. Nusrat will be remembered for generations to come. May his soul rest in peace.
